JIVD ERCA 2025

Welcome to JIVD-ERCA 2025

Acute and chronic respiratory care in pediatric and adult populations:

Management, innovations, patient and caregiver perspective.

JIVD and ERCA are both non-profit associations based in Lyon and Brussels respectively. They have been collaborating in organising and delivering international meetings since 2012. In spite of the covid pandemic, in 2022 the conference welcomed more than 950 active participants from 33 countries.

JIVD-ERCA has some characteristics that make it a relationship scenario different from conventional events. Patient involvement and the "real world" interaction with all stakeholders are a major focus of JIVD-ERCA: patients and caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, managers and policy makers, industry and service providers, covering respiratory care in acute setting and home care environment.

We can rely on the support of an international scientific committee to elaborate the programme which also incorporates the suggestions we have collected from participants of the previous meetings.

The focus of the event will be: patients' experience as a driving force to promote collaborative care, innovative technology to solve the unmet needs of patients and a delivery of care than ensures accessibility, effectiveness and sustainability.

More than 43 sessions and pre-congress courses will take place during the three-day conference, with a special emphasis on the active participation of delegates through the use of interactive technology in combination with personal face-to-face interactions.

Presentations and complementary material will be accessible through a platform allowing direct access to all content at the end of the congress.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lyon, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, a city to discover and enjoy.
